Fergus Farrell: Time is all we have

Imagine at one point in your life you were suicidal, then a few years later you were given a 5% chance to walk again following a spinal cord injury.

Then a year later you walk from your home 206km to the NRH, then you attempt to row across the Atlantic, and now you aim to run across the country on your 5th anniversary since the accident.

On this episode we hear how it is possible, and this person is Fergus Farrel

Fergus Farrell once again joins me to discuss his next challenge. To run 206km in four days on the 23rd Oct – 26th Oct 2023 with the goal to raise money for the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dublin where he fought his way back having severed his spinal chord.

To donate and support Gussie’s goal of raising €250,000 for the NRH go to this link https://www.idonate.ie/fundraiser/ToughestTrek23

This discussion is more than just a challenge, we speak about his battle with failure, how it hangs on to his thoughts and why his kids are the most important people in his life. We only have time to waste and best use our time with the ones we love.

A heart worming encounter.
