Dr. Shane Cassidy is the founder of Nerolinks which is an organisation which uses music as a form of therapy for so many people. Shane has found a way to use music to help people manage their health challenges be it mental or physical.
Shane grew up in a family that loves music, with his mum and siblings super musicians and singers, Shane’s world was steeped in music from the beginning. Shane studied Music Therapy in the University of Limerick and now supports clients across Ireland through the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoighre and his Neurolinks office in Dublin.
What I love about this conversation is how clear Shane’s passion for music comes across and his genuine desire to help people. We delve into Shane’s childhood and uncover some challenges he faced growing up in Gibbstown and how he over came them.
